System Explorer doesn't require installation, so even if you're happy with the Windows Task Manager, which I doubt, you should definitely give this great app a try. You have nothing to lose!

If you ever wanted the best and easiest solution to backup your files then check out this software by Emailer.zapto.org . It can upload any file of any size to your email account by just right clicking on that file and selecting "Backup to Email".

Some of the features of this software that caught my attention was it's ability to automatically split up file in folders of 10Mb for easy and fast uploading and it's ability to handle multiple Email Accounts.

This is one of the best utility that I came across recently. It's free and open source PDF split and Merge software(76 Kb) by Paologios.com that does not require a separate PDF editor and works in a flash.
I think this software is very handy to manipulate Adobe Acrobat files without having full version.I tried this on 50 page PDF file containing pictures,graphs,text and the conversion quality was quite good as compare to free online tools available.If you have any more similar software that outperform this then do contact me.

SoonR is very useful mobile application that can enable you to receive/reply to mails and also to access your computer from mobile phone at no charges, if you don't have Blackberry.
In order to operate this you have to install SoonR software from their main website to your PC and add files/folders which you want to operate from mobile phone. And then log on to your SoonR account on cellphone to access all included folders.

Hardware keyloggers are one of the most common things that you will notice in public computers or in cyber cafe. As the hardware keylogger is plugged in-between the keyboard and computer, it detects the password has been typed and then starts presenting the computer with "typed" data to produce a menu.

Conveniently create a different GishPuppy email everytime you register on the web, and individually cancel them whenever you want.
3. 2Prong: 2Prong is the only no-click disposable email system. By simply visiting this site the above address has already been saved to your clipboard. Paste(Ctrl-V) it in any form on a website that requires email verification and when the email is received it will pop up instantly in this box. 2Prong changes the domain weekly in order to prevent the address from being banned, a problem which plagues other disposable email services.

Don’t you just hate it when you have to copy a bunch of data from one computer to another and the whole time Windows keeps bothering you with those stupid messages like “File XXX is read-only file, do you want to copy?” or “File is a hidden file, would you like to copy?” This is especially painful if you are copying lots and lots of files and some files are read-only, hidden, or already in the destination location.

Well using Unstoppable Copier, all Windows system messages will simply be ignored and your data will be copied without any interruptions (so you can leave your desk instead of staring at your screen for 2 hours waiting for one of those stupid dialogs to pop up)!! It’s a very small program and it’s main purpose actually is to be used to recover files from hard disks with physical damage.

Usually, if a disk is damaged (bad sectors or scratched disks), you’ll get an error message that the file could not be read or something similar and you’re pretty much screwed! But this program will simply read it anyway and try to put the pieces together itself. With this method, most of files can be recovered even if all the data was not readable. The process can be changed using a slider bar to intense data recovery (which is will slower) to skipping all damaged sections (fastest). Of course, if you need your thesis back, waiting 5 hours just might be worth it!

The file may be only recoverable up to the damaged point, but at least you’ll get something back rather than losing it all. This program works for documents, videos, MP3’s…just about any type of file!

I just used this program to transfer about 3 GB’s data and it worked FABULOUSLY!!! This is a great program. Usually, I get about 3 to 4 messages asking me stupid things, but not one this time! Really cool program, one of the most useful I’ve seen in a long time.
