Some 15 days ago,Shiv sena workers beat up a cyber cafe owner and send out a letter to other cyber cafes in Mumbai.The letter states "This is a request-cum-directive to you to block Orkut. If you do not do so, we will respond in our own way."
Is this some kind of a joke,who are they to enforce rules without having legal recourse.During this whole incident Police were acting as mute witnesses. We are a democratic country and everybody has a right to do what he likes under law.Shiv sena has assumed that they are the only one who will make any kind of law in their town and nobody else has right to do so.
Moreover they also providing a free software to block the orkut site and even want a review of Mr.Kalam on that.
I think the main aim of Shiv sena behind these incidents is just to gain publicity and dispense a fear among common man.
