Lagaan DVD released alongwith Aamir's blog

Shocking but true, Aamir Khan, the actor-producer of Lagaan has released the DVD of Lagaan six years after its release.
According to the star performer, “As Lagaan was my first stint into production, I was not quite aware of the minute details of contracts. In one of my contracts that I signed regarding the Home entertainment, it mentioned that I was not liable to release the film in any other manner other than theatrical prints for the next five years.”
“And this is the reason why I am releasing the DVDs now.”
